The Heir Tour

Since you guys have had so many questions about the tour stops, I went ahead and called all the bookstores/libraries and asked about tickets, times, and book purchases so that you would have all the information in one place. So, if you’re coming to one of the stops on The Heir Tour, this is everything you should need to know:

Christiansburg, VA: Come in early (or as the event starts) to get a ticket. This ticket will double as your spot in line and your number for the raffles we’re doing! Tickets will start being handed out at 4PM. You do not need to purchase my books from the store for the signing, but please support the store by purchasing any book you’re excited about while you’re there.

Washington, DC: This event is at a library, and a local store will be providing books for sale should you need one. No tickets needed, show up whenever, and since you don’t need to buy a book on site, consider hugging a librarian instead.

Myrtle Beach, SC: Color-coded wristbands will be given out if the event passes a certain size, so that will be determined the day of. If you’ve already purchased your books, that’s fine, but please support the store by picking up something else when you visit.

Boston, MA: You must purchase your book from Wellesley Books Store if you’re getting one signed. No need for tickets and show up whenever you like.

New York City, NY: Because the talk and signing is taking place somewhere with limited space, you must purchase a ticket. General admission is $22, and 35 and under is $15. You can purchase them through the 92nd Street Y’s website. Book sales will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Princeton, NJ: No tickets needed and show up whenever you like. You may bring books with you, but please support the store by purchasing any new book while you’re there.

Chicago, IL: You need a ticket for the signing line and may start calling basically right now to go ahead and get your spot. You also need to purchase the book from the store if you’re getting one signed.

Albuquerque, NM: No tickets, come whenever, and feel free to bring your own books. Please consider supporting the store by purchasing any new book when you come.

Phoenix, AZ: No tickets, come whenever, and you may bring your own books. Again, please support the store by purchasing a book while you’re there.

I think that’s everything I have as far as info on the stops and hope that clears up a few questions. If you go to my events page and click on the location for any given stop, it will take you directly to the websites for each store if you have any more questions. As far as things on my end go, I will personalize books and happily take pictures. I don’t usually have limits on the number of books I sign. If lines get long, we might have to make a limit or stop personalizing. I don’t see that being a problem though. And, while I always appreciate getting your letters, tiaras, etc., please don’t bring me gifts on tour. It’s hard to pack everything, and I hate leaving things behind! You can always send notes to my PO box.

Alright guys, we’re 49 days out! See you all on the road!

Book News, The Heir, The Siren, Touring

The Heir, Events, and The Siren!

Hello Selectioners! I have three things I need to update you on, so go get some hot chocolate and snuggle up for a bit… okay, ready?

First, this is news that you should know by now, but in case you’ve missed it, we finally know if Maxon and America are having a boy or a girl. Turns out… it’s both! Yes, we have Schreave twins coming! And as far as who will be born first, it’s our baby girl. What does that mean? How will her/their future unfold? Well, that’s all to come. For now, hope you’re excited to know about the babies, and, of course, stay tuned for more Heir related news coming soon!

Second, the year is starting to wind down, and I have a handful of final events on the horizon. First, I have a visit to Costco in Winston-Salem, NC this weekend. It’s a bit of an interesting situation, so click here for info you might need if you’re coming. I’ll also be heading to the Netherlands as well as YallFest in November. Once I have my final schedule for these trips, I’ll post them on my Events page.

And, finally, some news I’ve been DYING to share! If you’ve recently tried to get a copy of The Siren, you might have noticed it’s kind of impossible. And that’s because IT’S BEING RE-RELEASED THROUGH HARPERTEEN! What does this mean, exactly? Well, first, it means you can't get a copy right now. But mostly it means I get to go back through with my editor and make it the story I always hoped it could be. It will sparkle in ways I couldn’t make it on my own, and that makes me crazy happy! It will also be released in hardback with a new cover and some bonus material for the fancy new bind up! We don’t have a solid release date yet, but it’s tentatively Winter 2016. So early 2016ish. I can’t tell you how happy this makes me. I’m still in love with Kahlen, Akinli, and even the Ocean herself, so I’m thrilled that it will be more polished and available in stores in just about a year.

So, that’s everything I can share for now! Which is a shame because there are even more awesome things happening behind the scenes that I can’t wait to tell you about. Hopefully soon! Later, nerds!
